Canopy Alley, Inc. is an expansion of its predecessor, the Three Friends Boutique. Krysta Marvin and Jaimee Cam Chan, two former Three Friends employees, purchased the Ladera Ranch location in 2004. Canopy Alley soon developed a style and design of its own. In 2008, Jaimee left to pursue new opportunities and Krysta continued to expand the boutique with new concepts, such as “Canopy Kids” and bringing in exciting new brands. Canopy Alley continues to be the fashion boutique in the Ladera Ranch community that is admired by all.
Krysta has a background in apparel manufacturing and management from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, located in Los Angeles, CA. Krysta started her career working as a sales associate for Three Friends Boutique, but was quickly promoted to company assistant buyer/merchandiser. Her training was hands on and she soon became sole merchandiser to all of the Three Friends locations. Krysta has always aspired to own her own boutique. Through her design and storytelling of each collection and her eye for detail, her former employer knew she would be great as a boutique owner. Krysta was offered the opportunity to make her dream come true in 2004.
Krysta is currently a home owner in nearby Trabuco Canyon with her husband Brett and is the proud mother of two beautiful twin girls, Charlotte Lee and Raechelle Joy.
Krysta strives for customer satisfaction, through excellent customer service. Canopy Alley offers great brand names, and unique but wearable items for their wide range of clientele. The store’s continued success is based on its 5,000 + loyal customers, adding new customers to their mailing list daily.

Debi, one of our Assistant Managers. Many of the new arrivals are selected by her so be sure to ask her where your favorite brand is the next time you stop in.
Amanda is our other Assistant Manager who just had a beautiful baby girl, Sasha, which completes their family of seven. Amanda has great knowledge of fit, if you are in the market to find a new pair of jeans, she is the girl to seek!
Ariana is a student at Biola University. She has a strong eye for fashion and is more than happy to help you find the perfect outfit that you are looking for! Also, look for her posts here on our new Canopy Alley Blog!
Heather is our most recent addition to the Canopy Alley family! We are so glad to have her as she is is so closely tied to us. She is the designer of Spiritual Fitness, an active wear brand that we have carried in the store for over 5 years! As a local resident and new mother, she enjoys being in the store store and connecting with our customers.
Every Summer and special holidays, we are graced with the presence of Kelsey, our Sales Associate, who is currently achieving her Bachelor’s Degree at UCSB.
